Licensed Life Insurance Professional · Ontario & Alberta
You've worked hard for this life. Let's make sure it's actually protected.
I'm Menchie. I help families understand life insurance and financial protection — what you already have, where the gaps are, and what your options actually mean. In plain language.
A conversation doesn't mean you have to buy anything.

What can I help you with?
Pick whichever sounds most like you. You don't need to know the right product name — that's my job.

Already have life insurance? Good.
But do you actually know what you have?
Most people bought a policy once, signed where they were told to, and haven't looked at it since. That's normal. It's also worth fixing.
- How much coverage you actually have
- Whether it's term or permanent — and when it ends
- Who your beneficiary is today, not who it was ten years ago
- What you're paying, and what that's buying you
- Whether it still fits — after a mortgage, a baby, a new job
- What happens to your workplace coverage when you leave
I'm not assuming you need another policy. Sometimes the smartest first step is simply understanding the coverage you already own.
Why work with me
You shouldn't have to buy something you don't understand.
I've watched people sign paperwork they couldn't explain, because someone they trusted told them to. I've been that person. So I work the other way around — you understand it first, then you decide. If I ever say something that doesn't make sense, stop me, and I'll say it differently.
Beyond personal cover
More ways I can help
These come up often — especially with business owners, and with families supporting relatives here and overseas.
Group Benefits for Small Business Owners
Take care of my team
If you employ people, benefits are one of the clearest ways to show it — and one of the reasons good staff stay. Let's talk about what employee benefit options could look like for a business your size.

Parents coming for a long stay, or family visiting for a few weeks. Medical costs here are the part nobody plans for. We can go through what coverage may be available for your situation.

Plan for retirement
Saving for later isn't really about a retirement age. It's about what you want to be able to do, and when. We can talk through the savings and retirement options worth exploring, based on your goals and your timeline.

I've been on the other side of this conversation.
When you're new to a country with no family and no roadmap, you take advice from whoever is around. Someone says "do this, it's good," so you do. Then someone else says "no, do this instead." And you change direction again.
That was me. I followed advice for years without ever understanding why. Nobody explained the trade-offs. I lost time and I lost money, and I felt stupid for not asking better questions — when really, nobody had ever explained it in a way I could follow.
It took me about ten years to finally understand how this all works. That's when I made a decision: no one I work with is going to sign something they can't explain back to me.
Before this I was a caregiver, an accounting coordinator, an optometric technician, and a store manager back home in the Philippines. I'm a mom and a grandma. And I still believe the best conversations happen over good food.

The first conversation
Getting started is simpler than you think
You don't need to prepare anything. Most people come to the first call with a question, not a plan.
- 1
Tell me what's going on
A new baby, a mortgage, a diagnosis in the family, or just a nagging feeling you should sort this out.
- 2
We look at your situation
What matters to you, and what coverage you already have, where that's relevant.
- 3
I explain your options
In language you'd use yourself. If I say something confusing, stop me.
- 4
You decide
There's no pressure, and no follow-up you didn't agree to.
